Work entirely engraved in copper. Contemporary binding in full parchment some loss at the spine. Second edition, the beautiful engravings depict fortifications with their respective scheme, fortified cities and cannons and are taken from drawings by Scala. A manuscript note of possession of the Senator of the Kingdom Antonio Carradori de ’Flamini (1814-1882) on title page. Titlepage burnished and with two erased possession notes.
