Ernst Leitz Wetzlar Thambar 2.2/9 cm Il nome Thambar deriva dal greco e può essere tradotto come ‘qualcosa che suscita meraviglia’. E’ stato progettato agli inizi degli anni Trenta da Max Berek, con uno schema ottico composto da 4 lenti in tre gruppi. La produzione iniziò nel 1934 e si concluse nel 1940, esclusivamente con ottiche dotate d’innesto a vite m39 e con una produzione ufficiale di circa 3200 esemplari. Questo è in condizioni quasi perfette, con lenti pulite e senza graffi, dotato di tappi, paraluce e del famoso filtro ‘soft focus’ con bolla argentata centrale. Si tratta di un pezzo abbastanza raro. Tutto è originale e funzionante. The name Thambar derives from the Greek and can be translated as 'something that arouses wonder'.
